    No Show Roof Inspection Appointments

Lead Engine Sales and Marketing defines no show appointment as a booked appointment where the prospect never turns up, or is not there when your rep arrives. No shows are the gap between what a vendor reports as booked and what your calendar is actually worth, because a booking only pays you once somebody meets your rep at the property.

Why does no show appointment matter?

No shows are the gap between what a vendor reports as booked and what your calendar is actually worth, because a booking only pays you once somebody meets your rep at the property. Common causes are loose qualifying, booking with somebody who cannot approve the work, and no confirmation before the visit. The number that matters to a roofing contractor is shown inspections, meaning the ones where somebody was home or on site and the roof got looked at.

How does no show appointment work?

    • Qualify the prospect on property, decision maker and timeline before booking
    • Confirm the appointment before the visit so the prospect expects your rep
    • Track shown inspections separately from booked appointments
    • Read a high no show count as a qualifying or confirmation problem
    • Replace appointments that fail the standard instead of billing for them

A vendor reporting only booked appointments can look productive while your estimator drives to empty properties. Ask how the vendor defines a shown appointment and what happens when one does not show.

On a Lead Engine program, a no-show never counts toward the weekly floor, which is counted in shown inspections only. If a week is short, the dialing continues until the shown inspections are on your calendar. Any appointment that misses the Lead Engine Appointment Standard is replaced at no charge.

    Example

An estimator drives 40 minutes to a booked inspection and the homeowner is not there and does not answer. That booking counts as a no show, and it does not count toward Lead Engine's weekly floor, which is counted in shown inspections only.
